my white room

i never saw a moor—
i never saw the sea—
yet know i how the heather looks
and what a billow be.

alley of roses,
abo, last summer

why do i want to touch
every leaf and tree i see

billy holiday
has the voice of all sunny moments
even if it`s gloomy sunday ,

my hours are slumberless
dearest the shadows
i live with are numberless
little white flowers

  1. only a few weeks before
I was thinking about your place:
    what your spring is like
and how i can imagine the spring
of a place which is much colder.

    and now you have rosies
    which we haven't yet here!?

    it's a kind of miracle
and every moment must be so precious

    1. dear yukino,
      these photos were made
      last summer, in finland
      in the botanical garden
i only dream about such a bloom here,
but even thought i can not smell those
      it brings to me summer
      every time i look at

i was sitting at night yesterday
      started a letter to you,
as i always write to you
      in the dark hour

    2. oh, sorry for my mistaken
yes, i often dream about so many years ago
when we spent holidays in nagano at the begging of may
      with our siberian husky puppy
playing around dandelion under full bloom cherry trees
      it was so beautiful around

and thank you for writing to me
it's nice waiting, expecting your words

  4. I stuck my nose in the apple blossoms more than once on my walk yesterday :). I think we touch nature to remind ourselves that we are part of it, and to make it part of us.

  5. roses here too but summer is gathering pace
and will soon snuff them out.

we are back, trying to find rhythm and meaning.
but it's so good to be here again.
