my white room

i never saw a moor—
i never saw the sea—
yet know i how the heather looks
and what a billow be.

one day i want to be walking by a pond with
lotus, see it`s beautiful pods, sculptured by
nature as pottery little cups for drops,

behind grandpa`s house down the hill there
was a lake, round, surrounded by willows
and acorus cálamus, did not find name of it in english, sour
long stems, juicy, edible, antibacterial, great-grandma
used to lay it down on the floors to make it fresh
and clean. water lilys grew in the lake, many many
of them were closing every night and opening in the
morning like a long deep breath of water.
they look alike, i like them so much.
