my white room

i never saw a moor—
i never saw the sea—
yet know i how the heather looks
and what a billow be.

it is good to feel that the best things in life are not things
and i hope to learn looking at something truly stunning
not wanting to have it at once

for mother and daughter, nora and lhana
two glass moon lockets with different
small fabric bits - the light one japanese
the left one finnish and transparent leaves
are from the same branch they sent me

i spent so many days around woods,
came back home, miss it so bad right
now and maybe this is my wish -
forest in the house

  1. These are amazing, so fragile.
And I really love your thoughts on "things".

  2. The little house is just gorgeous!
If a little blue rabbit could fit in it, it'd be perfect for me!

  3. i agree with you...
    i sometimes find myself
hurrying to have things i need
    but it's true
waiting and imagining make a precious time.

    the best things
    mostly aren't things
    and that house....
    I just love that house
    did you make it?
    or
    did you find it
    somewhere?....
