my white room

i never saw a moor—
i never saw the sea—
yet know i how the heather looks
and what a billow be.

i had these roots from from my ginger
and leek in the soil for two weeks, but
they got weak and i had to throw them
away. few days pot was empty but one
morning two little sturdy sprouts came
out, right on the same places where my
friends used to be, like their children

and persimmon leaves near by

i hope your winter garden and summer
herbs keep you warm and happy these
days

  1. What a pleasant surprise.

I've been thinking about trying to grow ginger in a pot. I think I'm suppose to plant it in the spring. A couple months to go..

  3. oh, wow it's really a pleasant surprise!

    and i've remembered my story:
i once sew seeds of cresson and was pleased
that its tiny sprouts came out.

but while i was in mood of happiness
worms came and ate all the sprouts
as i was disappointed and put the pot aside.

that was in the last spring and in the late autumn
i found many sprouts has come out again,
and fortunately there's no worm now
so they are still good growing!

    hope you enjoy their growing...
